Febuary 13th, Ben Chaffee participated in the Creed speaking contest at the sub district level placing 2^nd and qualified for the district contest where he placed 4^th, one place away from continuing to state.  Desiree Chill participated in the Extemporaneous event where she picked her topic and gave a speech 30 minutes later.  She placed 9th.
