2018 State House
On November 21st, FFA members took a trip with the 4th graders to the State House. FFA members helped chaperone and teach the kids about the State House and its history. Because most of the FFA memebers had previously visited the State House they had already knew a lot about it. They wanted to bring along their knowledge and use their leadership skills to teach the 4th graders. The students had the opportunity to have a tour guide along with the FFA members to guide them. They toured the session rooms and the offices. Taking trips like this are not only fun, but informational. Students get the opportunity to learn history of the building and how our government works. This trip could also provide career ideas to the young kids.
