SC FFA Members Attend Huron County Fair

   During the week of August 11-16, 2014, members of the South Central FFA participated as Junior Fair members at the Huron County Fair in Norwalk, Ohio. Members are required to have at least one project at the fair. This project may consist of either woodworking and electrical, which are created during ag classes at the end of the school year, or animals.
   Many SC FFA members placed well during judging with their animals such as, dairy feeders, beef feeders, beef and dairy steers, goats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and pigs.
   Jeremiah Adams received Third Overall with his dairy beef feeder, and also Grand and Reserve Champion Dairy Steers.
   Rachel Mikalacki placed Third in all three of her showmanship classes with her dairy beef feeder, beef feeder, and dairy steer.

Greg Cornish placed first, earning Supreme Showman, and also third with his wood project (chair).
Miles Burton received First with his welding project.
Hunter Adams got Reserve Champion Overall with his feeder calf.
Isaiah Adams received Grand Champion at the State Fair in Columbus, Ohio.
Summer Sweeting placed First, earning Grand Champion with her goat.
Madison Ott placed Fourth with her feeder calves and she also placed Second with her wood project (chair).
Karlie Conaway received First with her wood project (chair).
