Tractor Safety Day

On November 15, the South Central FFA members hosted their annual Tractor Safety day with the 4th graders. Our main goal was to spread how important it is to be safe around farm equipment. We had members bring in a few basic things you would use, like a tractor, 4-Wheeler, Kubota, Lawn Mower and a Skid Steer. As the members demonstrated how it works and pointed out the basic parts, the kids learned the safety around that piece of equipment. The tractor was definitely a hit with the kids. Not only did we inform them on the safety with equipment, but we had a station where the kids learned about different types of animals and what makes them unique. We would like to thank the 3rd and 4th graders for being such amazing kids.
