Ag Advocacy Day at the State House

On November 17th, FFA members took a trip with the 4th graders to the State House. Thirteen members helped chaperone and teach the kids about the State House and its’ history. Being in FFA and with the trips we have taken most of them already saw the State House and knew facts about it. Therefore they wanted to take their knowledge and leadership to help out the 4th grade class. The students had the opportunity to have a tour guide along with the FFA Members to tour them around. They toured were the session rooms and got to see where everyone's office is. Along with that they also got to meet two representatives. Taking trips to places like this are informational, students get to see how our government works and gives them ideas on what they would like to do when they grow up.
