2017 Tractor Safety Day

South Central 4th Graders Get Hands-on Experience with Tractor Safety

On November 15th, the South Central FFA members hosted their annual Tractor Safety day with the 4th graders. Our main goal was to spread how important it is to be safe around farm equipment. We had members bring in a few basic things you would use, like a tractor, 4-Wheeler, Kubota, Lawn Mower and a Skid Steer. As the members demonstrated how it works and pointed out the basic parts, the kids learned the safety around that piece of equipment. The tractor was definitely a hit with the kids. We would like to thank the 4th graders for being such amazing kids.
