Hurricane Harvey

On August 25 Hurricane Harvey, a category 4 storm hit Texas in a catastrophic way. It caused over 180 billion dollars in damage and affected 13 million people from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. The South Central FFA and TLC (Teen Leadership Corps.) classes teamed up with the Willard FFA Chapter and TLC and other chapters to collect items for the victims. The South Central FFA and TLC classes were in charge of collecting bars of soap. In one week South Central students collected nearly 2,000 bars of soap along with a few other items to donate.
