The South Central FFA recently participated at the district forestry in Bucyrus. They first learned how to timber cruise, identify trees and went over chainsaw safety. After the morning sessions, the member split up for the contest. Overall, they placed third. The top seven members were Ryan Clark, Rebeka Mikalacki, Zeb Burton, Amy Gannett, Jeremiah Adams, Brett Whiteside and Bryce Leber. These individuals moved on to the state contest in Hocking Hills. There, they placed fourteenth in the state, which is the highest the team has placed. Great job, guys!
