Febuary 13th, Ben Chaffee participated in the Creed speaking contest at the sub district level placing 2nd and qualified for the district contest where he placed 4th, one place away from continuing to state. Desiree Chill participated in the Extemporaneous event where she picked her topic and gave a speech 30 minutes later. She placed 9th.
