South Central FFA at the Huron County Fair

On August 16th, South Central FFA members entered their projects into the Huron County fair. Projects from small woodworking to dairy beef feeders. “Fair is that one week everyone looks forward to,” said Parliamentarian, Miles Burton. We were very successful this year. Wyatt Ingersoll and Noah Dotson both placed first with their woodworking projects. Maddie Vogel received Grand Champion with her market hog. “I felt accomplished,” Maddie replied when asked how she felt after receiving Grand. Dallas Tolliver took 4th in showmanship and 3rd and 4th in his class with his hogs. Also Summer Sweeting walked out with Reserve Grand Champion with her market goat. The South Central FFA Chapter was also represented in the Jr. Fair King and Queen Contest. Marshall Wheeler ran for King and walked away with 1st attendant. As the week ended we all walked away saying “Until next year.”
