The South Central FFA have five competing groups in Spring Contest, Poultry, General Livestock, Agronomy, Equine and Wildlife. The Poultry team judges chicken carcusses, interior and exterior eggs, chicken parts, bone-in and bone-out chicken products and live birds. The team consists of Kaycee Burton, Terry Copsey, Matt Whiteside, Dallas Tolliver, Andrew Shepherd and Desiree Chill. The General Livestock team judges different types of animals, including sheep, cattle, pigs and sheep. The team consists of Danielle Ott, Miles Burton, Kendall Keene, Angel Wilson, Brooke Gahring, Summer Sweeting, and Rachel Mikilacki. The Agronomy team judges different types of seeds and classifies them, identify diseases and bugs, and they also do a team event. The team consists of Jeremiah Adams, Andrew Maddison and Travis Lortcher. The Equine team judge different breeds of horses, identify different types of feed and horse equipment. The team consists of Kara Walcher, Tommy Riesing, Kennedy Risner, Holly Hale and Maddison French. The Wildlife team identifies different types of birds, and wildlife animals. The team consists of Matt O’dell, Issac Brant and Shelby Tollier.
