On October 8th, the South Central Urban and Rural soils teams went to Fairfield County where the 2016 State Soils competition was held. Participating members were Miles Burton, Kendall Keene, Andrew Maddison and Danielle Ott. Miles led the team placing 16th out of 162, landing the team in 12th place. Participating members for Urban were Kaycee Burton, Desiree Chill, Brooke Gahring and Kara Walcher. Kaycee Burton led the team placing 54th out of 156, placing the team 25th. This is the Urbans 3rd straight year participating in State. Both teams look forward to next year and hope to do even better.
