FFA State VP

Date Posted: March 9, 2016
The South Central FFA had a special visit from the Ohio FFA State Vice-President, Mary Buehler, on March 9th. The chapter experienced multiple team building challenges, and work ethic challenges. The 2nd period class discussed what “free standing” really means and how it can mean multiple things. The class was challenged to create the tallest free standing balloon structure only using balloons and tape. They discussed which structure was truly free standing and which one was not. In the end they discovered each team won. They then worked together to build a structure that reached the top of the shop. That was only one of the multiple fun challenges. The officer team also got the chance to know Mary Buehler over a homecooked lunch. The chapter always enjoys the company of another FFA member who cares just as much about Ag as they do.
