SC FFA Officer Retreat
Each year the FFA Officer team goes on a day trip to build teamwork with each other. This year on July 6, they went to U.S. President Garfield’s house in Mentor, Ohio, Whirly Ball and Holden Arboretum. On the bus ride, the team made a plan for the Huron County Fair conservation booth. For lunch, they ate at Smokey Bones and for dinner they went to Bucca de Peppo’s. At the Holden Arboretum, each officer was tasked with finding different water insects and organisms in a pond. At Whirly Ball, the team was divided and had to play a basketball/lacrosse/bumper cars game and score the most points. Usually whichever team Mrs. Lucha was on won. It was a great day as everyone worked together.
