SC FFA Takes a Field Trip

   The South Central FFA Chapter recently toured Seidel’s new chicken facilities and helped the Huron County Soil and Water District prepare for their annual Fall Fun Fest at the Huron County Fairgrounds. The group left the school in the morning and made a stop at Seidel’s chicken barns on 224. The members toured the facilities, learning about the new technology implemented and how the process of raising broilers worked. 
   After their tour, the members got back on their bus and went to the fairgrounds to help set up the straw pyramid and straw maze for the Fall Fun Fest. Working as a team, the students unloaded nearly a whole semi trailer load of straw bales.
