On Thursday May 1st, members of the South Central FFA went to Columbus for the Ohio State Convention. First off, member Zeb Burton, was dropped off for his Proficiency Interview. The FFA toured German Village with a tour guide which was followed by a fudge demonstration. Several of the members participated in many activities such as bowling and trap shooting. Members ate at Schmidt’s Sausage, Dinner Spaghetti Warehouse, Ole Farmstead, and at the Convention session. The first Convention session contained an Instagram Challenge that some of the members participated in. The second hosted the Honorary State Degrees. Zeb walked across the stage during the third session along with other members. The last session contained officer awards in which several of the South Central FFA members were qualified. Special speakers included Harriet Turk and Cliff Cody. At long last, the FFA members began the trip home.
