State Forestry

On October 2, the SC FFA embarked on a trip to Hocking College for the State Forestry CDE. Members that attended were Kara Walcher, Desiree Chill, Rachel Mikalacki, Marshall Wheeler, Miles Burton, and Seth Eaton. On Friday evening, the members practiced tree identification and timber cruising in a state park with the help of one of Mrs. Lucha’s many connections. The next day, the rain delayed the start of the contest and made it impossible to do the timber cruising. Despite the rain, the State Forestry trip was exciting and filled with fun.
