State Soils

On October 17th the Urban Soils team participated at State Soils in Ashland County. Even though it was a very cold day we did a great job. In order to go to Nationals you must be in the top five, and our team placed 8th overall. Even though we did not make it to nationals we did a great job. 46 teams participated in this event and over 168 students were there. Kaycee Burton placed 20th overall, Desiree Chill placed 26th, Rachel Mikalacki placed 46th and Terry Copsey placed 77th. Our Urban soils team is extremely dedicated and involved in soils. We absolutely love doing it. We plan to do even better next year.
