Four South Central FFA Members Participate in General Livestock Judging

During fair week, four members of the South Central FFA participated in the General Livestock Judging Contest. Brooke Gahring, Kendall Keene, Maddie Vogel, and Danielle Ott judged sheep, goats and steers based on which ones they thought were the best of the best. They base it on market and breeding which is based on physical characteristics and records. The team placed 1st, along with Kendall Keene placing 1st overall. Maddie Vogel commented, “It was great practice for the spring livestock judging”. In the spring they will be set out on the same mission for the State General Livestock CDE. Congratulations to these individuals and goodluck in the spring.
